Service Description

Saturday 21st February 9:30am - 11:30am Come along to the first of the literacy and numeracy workshops, aiming to prepare kids for upcoming assessments. We'll work through a range of activities and tasks that align with upcoming Naplan assessments. Students will each receive a booklet which we'll work through together, with teacher tools and tips to help for the coming weeks. We'll be writing exciting narratives together, looking at correcting spelling and grammar techniques, reading numerous texts with associated questions and work through some numeracy based word problems. Our sessions will be split into the following: - 30mins writing - 30mins reading - 30mins grammar and spelling - 30mins numeracy We'll focus on the important writing genres of Narratives and Persuasives, with Naplan assessments on the horizon. We'll also work through some of the challenging word based math problems that kids often find challenging. Each student will work through their own booklet that they can take home to continue to work on.
