Service Description
Following on from huge demand by parents of our student painters, we now offer a delightful night for adults, where we create some beautiful pieces of art, discuss new release and soon to be released books, over a relaxing glass of wine. The first book we'll work through is the stunning Watercolour With Me book, In The Forest by Dana Fox. Not very good at sketching or have trouble working out what colours to use? No need to worry, this book takes all those challenges away. The book is designed to let your creativity shine through while making the idea of watercolour painting a little less terrifying for beginners. The book will guide you step-by-step through creating each of the paintings shown. On one side of the page you'll see a faint sketch of the image. On the other, you find the tips, instructions, colour palettes, and tools required to complete the artwork. The projects are broken up into four main sections: - Wet on Dry - Wet on Wet - Painting Fur - Ink and Wash Along with the painting, bookshop owner Cholm, will discuss new release books and highlight what you could/should be reading next. Discounts will apply to all painters who make purchases on the night! The initial class is $80, as that includes the cost of the book. Future classes where you don't require a new book will be $40.
